Kaphaj yonivyapad is one of twenty Yonivyapadas (gynaecological disorders) which shows the symptoms Picchila Yonistrava (unctuous discharge) and Yonikandu (itching sensation in vagina), yonigat alpavedana (pain abdomen), shitata (coldness per vagina) as described by Acharya Charak. According to modern this condition can be compaired with trichomonas vaginitis i.e., type vaginal infections.
